Dear Mandie,
There is a girl that I am trying to impress. What do I do?

Sincerely,
Shy or Show Off

Dear Shy or Show Off,You don't need to show off for a girl to get her to like you. Most girls really hate it when guys try to be someone else. Just be yourself and you will be okay.Sincerely,Mandie

Dear Kris,
I hang with some people but I'm not sure if we are friends or not yet. What do I do?

-Personally I think that you should ask if you are friends yet. But hey, that's just me.- Kris

Dear Mandie and Kris,

I am super nice to people. They are rude and stab me in the back. I lose freinds for no reason. What should I do?

Sincerely,
Moans and Groans

First, some advice from a guest columnist!

Dear Moans and Groans,

Don't change for those people. As hard as it might be, you need to keep on trucking. If they are mean and rude, don't hang out with them. The people that are mean are going to be mean either way. Trust me, I've been through the same things. I know it's easier said than done, but there are seven billion people in the world. You can do it. I know it's possible.

Sincerely,
Roman

Let's see if Mandie feels the same way!
 Dear Moans and Groans,
I totally agree with Roman, you dont need to change for others I learned that the hard way... Just be your self not someone that others want you to be Good luck ----Mandie

Dear Mandie,

I need some advice. No matter what I do I get in trouble. If I do something right I get in trouble. If I do something wrong I get in trouble. No matter what I seem to do I get in trouble. What do you think I should do?"
      Sincerely, Troubled

Dear Troubled,

I am truly sorry. That would suck to be in that position.
If you do know the rules and are ignoring them, save yourself a headache and do what is right.
If you don’t know the rules, talk to your mom/teachers to find out.
       Sincerely, Mandie

Dear Kris and Mandie,

My birthday party is coming up. I want to invite people from my school, but I'm worried that not a lot of people will come. I was thinking of inviting my friend that is not from this school. He would definitely come, but he is weird around my other friends. He's rude and more of a know-it-all. What should I do?

Sincerely,
Party Puzzler

 Dear Party Puzzler,

If he is rude around other people, tell him not to act like that. I certainly wouldn't invite people who are rude and disrespectful.

      Sincerely,

Kris

"Dear Kris:

I was invited to a girl's birthday party. I'm good friends with her but I'm not sure what to get her. I was thinking a necklace-making kit. What do you think?"

- Ash Ketchum

Dear Ash Ketchum:

A necklace making kit would be good, but I would get her a Barnes & Noble gift card just to be safe.

-Kris

"I'm having stress problems. What do I do?" - from Power Dork

Dear Power Dork,

I’ve been there before, and my advice is that you find some way to relieve that stress. One of my suggestions is to turn on a video game, or get out a pair of Chinese stress balls. Or, if it’s at school, talk to Mrs. Whitney.

From,

            Kris

Dear Mandie,
I need advice. The guy I am dating is kind of a jerk. He is really awkward and doesn't even know what love is. What should I do!!?!?!?!?!?!?!? I hate GUYS. Too much drama!
From,

Drama Queen

Dear Drama queen,

If I were you I would directly tell him that its bothering you. To me it sounds like you guys are still in that awkward stage of dating. I know some guys can be really awkward and immature. If you really like him stay with him. If you don’t like him then break the relationship off. Stay friends. Just whatever you choose, please do it in person-- just trust me, don’t have a friend do it for you !!! If you break up in person, see his reaction. Don’t ever ever ever break up with a guy over a text. I did that last year; wasn’t very pretty!  I hope my advice helps you and you will want to come back to me or Kris for more when you need it. -Mandie

Someone asked me what if I don't like one of my teachers? What I would do is try to give her a chance. She may be getting used to the school. If things are still bad talk to another teacher and explain to her your problem.

Dear Colwyn and Amanda,

Hey, I am a student at Spectrum Academy and I was wondering... How do you survive not dating in high school? Thanks.
