Welcome to… How to Survive High/Middle school
Tip 1………………………………………………………………………...…be ready.
Tip 2……………………………………........................………avoiding drugs and cigarettes.
Tip 3...........................................................cannibalistic lockers.
Tip 4............................................................ big bullies who already shave.
Tip 5............................................................Your social life at school.
Tip 6.............................................................Cell Phones
Tip 1: be ready
If you go on the first day to school without a backpack, without writing utensils, or anything else you might need, you’ll find yourself under a lot of pressure from teachers, crabby or not. So make sure you bring:
1st: pens/pencils
2nd: erasers
3rd: binders
4th: backpack
5th: lunch
Etc.
Tip 2: Avoiding Drugs and Cigarettes
In some schools (luckily not ours) there is a constant problem of spreading drugs and cigarettes.
So a good way to counter attack this problem is to:
1st: report anybody with drugs or cigarettes
2nd: acknowledge the people you hang out with
3rd: stay away from people with drugs or cigarettes
4th: do whatever you can or whatever is possible to tell teachers about drug use in your school
5th: warn others
Thanks for reading!
p.s. drugs HURT they WILL ruin YOUR life!
Tip 3 Homework-Eating pests #1
1st: your locker
2nd: your backpack
3rd: your folder
And lastly: anything that is used to hold stuff
Today we’ll be focusing on your locker. A good way to keep your locker from eating your papers is to:
1st: Organize
2nd: Get a chainsaw and slash it in half.
3rd: Stick your head in its mouth and hope it doesn’t eat you.
And the answer is…
Organize: if you guessed right then you have won a new locker!!!
Not! (did I mention I was kidding?)
Anyway, you can buy locker hangs at the store so that’s a good way to do it. And/or you can keep binders in there so it will be a happy locker and not a cannibalistic one.
Tip 4: Shaving Bullies
take this test to find out!
1st: Does he physically hurt you?
2nd: Does he taunt you?
3rd: Is he mean to you in any way?
4th: Does he shave when he's younger than 12?
If you have answered any of these questions as yes then you might have a bully on your hands.
The key to getting rid of bullies is bystanders or the people who are watching. They should defend you and if they dont you can tell a parent/guardian/teacher or any type of adult.

Tip #5: Your Social Life at School
1: Don’t care about how people think of you!! I can't stress this enough if you want the "bullies" gone. Act like you don't care and they'll back off, they do it to get a reaction from you so don't give it to em'.
2: Just be honest, it will be better for everyone if you just come out and admit whatever you did if you did something wrong.
3: Be outgoing and happy, no one wants to hang around a downer, people want to be around someone who is upbeat!
4: Try to be friendly to everyone, because they just might act friendly back ;) This is what I do to survive socially. Sorry if I can't help academically, my brain works way different than most people so I might bore you guys.

TIP #6 CeLL Phones
Cell phones are great but most schools don't allow them so my advice is very plain: follow the policy!
I also suggest that if you are going to bring a cell phone to school put it on vibrate and don't call others during school hours unless it's a emergency and that wouldn't mean calling your mom for help with school work.
So just follow the rules or you will get in trouble.
Oh, and don't use your phone to cheat on tests.
Here's Spectrum's/our school's policy:
No cell phones in school
1st Offence: teacher takes phone you get it back at the end of the day.
2nd Offence: teacher confiscates phone and takes item to Principal Jaime.
3rd Offence:teacher confiscates phone and your parents have to come get it at the end of the day.
So if you ever decide to come to our school then DON'T BRING YOUR CELL PHONE.
Tip #7 midterms
Midterms are coming up so you have to be ready. A good way to start is to make sure you have all your work in, but sometimes that isn't enough. If you have a bad graded paper, ask your teacher if you can do the assignment again. So make sure that you are ready for midterms.
